Two Results Report Options for
VIA-IS

The VIA Survey of Character (VIA-IS) is reported in two ways. 

Option 1:  A top-down ranking of 24 character strengths with brief descriptions. Free. Immediate reporting upon completion of the Survey. (This is the way results have traditionally been reported.)

Option 2: Called the Personal Character Profile, this expanded report (16 pages) gives several perspectives of your character strengths constellation, including comparative data, graphs depicting strengths in virtue categories, the load of strengths in the virtue categories, a circumplex graph showing the location of your signature strengths on the head/heart, self/others axes, and a detailed description of your signature strengths with suggested ways to use them from Dr. Chris Peterson.

The Personal Character Profile is obtained by

1.  Purchasing it for yourself.  $40. Student Rate:  $20 (e-mail amandar@viacharacter.org to get  a student discount coupon code).  To purchase the report, enter the survey center and follow prompts.

2.  Purchasing it for others by through a Profile Code. The owner of the code is immediately sent a PDF file of the report.  Thus, if a consultant purchases a code for a client, the consultant receives the report when the client completes the survey.
