Who are we?

Navitas is a professional training, consultancy and coaching company based in Istanbul, Turkey. We have been providing services to our customers on the basis of continuous development and learning since our establishment in November 1997. We provide solutions in the areas of personal, organizational and leadership development to meet the needs of large corporations/organizations, small businesses and individuals. 

We are committed to meeting our customers’ needs in the most customized manner. We are serious about delivering excellence in service, quality and value to our customers. We work together with our clients to analyze their organization and identify their needs. We serve as change agents to help them achieve their goals most effectively and efficiently.We started the first international coaching school in Turkey in alliance with CTI, USA in 2004. We have received accreditation from ICF – International Coach Federation for our own coaching model “Developmental Discovery Coaching” in 2009. We are the first local company to get ICF accreditation in Turkey.

Our Working Methodology

We believe that intellectual investment in human resource will provide satisfaction for both our customers and their employees. A system based on continuous and sustainable development and human capital which is aligned with organizational values and strategies are the elements of building learning organizations.

About The Founder of Navitas - Demet Uyar 

Demet Uyar has been coaching middle and senior managers since 2002. She has translated the book called “Principles of NLP” in 2001. She is the co-author of the book “Coaching Approach in Management” which has been published in 2010.

Demet Uyar began working on a part-time basis while studying in the university.  After her graduation she worked in diferent sectors which include banking, industry, international trading, media, and pharma. She worked in finance, project management, marketing and sales departments as an expert and then as a manager.

She began her training career by delivering leadership and self-development workshops to the members of Junior Chamber International (JCI) in 1996. She founded Navitas in 1997.  Her expertise includes Coaching and Mentoring, Leadership and Management, Positive Psychology & Appreciative Inquiry, Emotional Intelligence and Communication, Change Management, Creating a Positive Corporate Culture & Employee Engagement

Other Activities

A member of the JCI since 1994, Demet Uyar is one of its international trainers and took part in local and international conferences as a speaker.  She was Istanbul Chapter President in 1998, in 2001 she served as JC Training Director. In 2002 she was President of JC Turkey’s Training Institute and JC European Conference Training Director. She became a JCI Senator in 2000 and still serves for JCI worldwide.
Demet Uyar is the founding member of  International Coach Federation (ICF) Turkey chapter. She has over 3.000 hours of individual and team coaching experience. Demet is also the Founding President of OGAD (Autism Powerful Families Association) to support families of autistic children. Demet Uyar is also the Head of Mentoring Work Group in EMCC Turkey (European Mentoring & Coaching Council).
