I am proud to offer this online, scientifically validated survey of character strengths. It is based on work beginning in the year 2000 when scientists discovered that a common language of 24 character strengths make up what’s best about humans, what is the best about our personalities.

Everyone possesses all 24 character strengths in different degrees, so each person has a truly unique character profile. Each character strength falls under one of these six broad virtue categories, which are universal across cultures and nations.
