Dr. Emre Umucu

Dr. Emre Umucu holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Psychology from UW-Madison. He currently serves as the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Texas at El Paso. Dr. Umucu's interdisciplinary research focuses on enhancing the well-being of underserved individuals, particularly veterans and civilians with chronic conditions. He is passionately dedicated to character strength research and collaborates with various agencies and centers to develop innovative solutions for complex health and community issues. Additionally, his work contributes to building positive, autonomous support systems in healthcare and higher education.
