Workplaces at Their Best for Consultants - Learning Path + Certification

The Workplaces at Their Best Certification includes:

• Seven live virtual sessions led by subject matter experts
• Access to the full learning path
• Membership in the consultant learning community, including access to articles, events, and ongoing learning opportunities
• The Implementation Guide, a 54+ page downloadable PDF with practical guidance for applying the work in real-world settings, including templates, facilitation resources, and practical tools

The certification also includes access to two additional courses:

• Introduction to Workplaces at Their Best, which includes the Implementation Guide, a customizable, step-by-step roadmap for applying the program’s tools and strategies.
• Foundations of Character Strengths, an in-depth exploration of the science of character strengths.

The certification is a structured three-month program designed to balance live learning with applied practice.

The time commitment includes:

• 7 live virtual Zoom sessions (4 hours each)
• Approximately 4–6 hours of applied learning and reflection between sessions

Yes. Participants are expected to attend all seven Zoom sessions. In extenuating circumstances, you may miss one session, though make-up work will be required to meet certification requirements.

You’ll receive an email with instructions and Zoom registration details prior to your first session. Access to the learning path and all course materials will be provided through the virtual learning platform on the first day of the program.

To participate fully, you’ll need reliable internet access and a device that supports video and audio for Zoom sessions, as well as internet access to complete assigned readings and Bridge Work. All required materials are provided online.

No, the course is designed to support both those new to character strengths and those with years of experience looking to deepen their practice.

We understand that schedules and circumstances can change. If you need to postpone your enrollment or transfer to a future cohort, please contact programs@viacharacter.org.

Changes made before the course start date can be accommodated at no cost.

If the course has already begun, a $20 administrative fee applies to transfer to a future cohort, which helps us cover the costs of rescheduling and updating your enrollment.

Your certification is valid for 2 years from the date you complete the program. During this time, you’ll have continued access to course materials and the certified learning community. Renewal details and options will be shared as you approach the end of your certification period.

We offer a full refund within the first 30 days of the program start date. After 30 days, refunds are no longer available.
